Class 2 Drivers Renfrew £14.85 per hour standard training rate 12 weeks TM Scotland Driving are very excited to be representing one of our partnered clients in Renfrew to support build the transport team through our very successful temp to perm model. Our client began as a small, family-runwholesale and grocery distributorserving local communities. Over the years, the company has grown into one of the UKs leading wholesale distribution firms by blending tradition with innovation. Hours: Mon to Fri – 06.00 Start – Job and Finish What the role looks like within our client as a Class 2 Driver? Vehicle Type: 1826 tonne (Box vehicles with tail lift, automatic & manual options available) Delivery Area: To be confirmed after interview and assessment with the client Delivery Type: Cage and Pallet deliveries a mix of multi-drop (410 drops/day) and long haul Load Handling: Majority require handballing. Customer-Facing: All deliveries are to stores, so strong customer service is essential Pay & Hours: Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am Start, Job and Finish. Pay Structure: £14.85 per hour at 100% – This will be paid as a standard rate for the first 12 weeks.However after you are offered a permanent contract the rate will be performance based, and you can earn anything between £15.84 to £18.21 per hour Overtime: Saturday and Sunday shifts available after 12 weeks What we require for you to be considered for our client? A Class 2 (Cat C) Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points (No DR or IN Endorsements) A valid Digital Tachograph A valid Drivers CPC Card Additional Benefits: Buddy System: New drivers will be paired with an experienced Van Assistant during the initial training period Progression: Opportunity to go solo based on performance and trust Uniform: All PPE provided by TaskMaster; client uniform issued after 12-week transfer Insurance Requirements: Minimum 2 years\’ experience preferred, but flexibility available based on references and pre-assessment This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, customer-focused Class 2 drivers looking to join a professional and supportive team with clear pathways to permanent employment.
