Quality Assurance Technician for Food Production in Wigan

Quality Assurance (QA)**Wigan Area**Back Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Taskmaster is recruiting for a Quality Assurance to work with one of our prestigious clients based in the Wigan area.
Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality, safety, and compliance standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA professional looking to develop their career within the food industry.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine quality checks throughout the production process.
Monitor compliance with food safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
Complete and maintain accurate QA documentation and records.
Conduct product inspections and testing in line with company procedures.
Support investigations into non-conformances and corrective actions.
Verify CCPs and ensure HACCP procedures are followed.
Work closely with production teams to maintain quality standards.
Assist with audits and customer requirements where required.
Requirements
Previous experience within a QA, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control role.
Experience within the food manufacturing industry is essential.
Good understanding of HACCP, Food Safety, and GMP standards.
Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills.
Confident communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
This position begins as a temporary assignment, with the possibility of longer-term employment for the right candidates.
