Taskmaster Resources is looking for a motivated Shunter driver to join our client based in the Doncaster area. If you take pride in maintaining high standards and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As a Shunter driver, you'll be a key player in ensuring our client site is well-maintained and running efficiently.
Your Role Duties:
- To direct and control the movement and positioning of lorries and other machinery on the site
- To use hand signals, radios and other communication devices to relay instructions to drivers and operators
- Ensuring that vehicles and equipment are correctly positioned for loading, unloading and for other operations
- To signal lorries, general organisation of the yard and to move large products
- Communicating effectively with Team Leaders and Management to resolve issues promptly
- Maintaining a strong focus on Health and Safety
