Taskmaster Resources Ltd are currently recruiting for Recycling Sorting Operatives on behalf of our well-established client based in Rushden. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals to join a dedicated team within the recycling and waste management industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out general yard labouring tasks in an outdoor environment.
  • Sorting recyclable materials (such as plastic, wood, metal, and paper) from general waste on a moving conveyor system.
  • Ensuring all waste is correctly segregated and stored in accordance with site procedures and environmental regulations.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and adhering to strict housekeeping standards.
  • Complying with all site Health & Safety rules and regulations at all times.
  • Identifying and reporting any contamination or hazardous materials to supervisors.
  • Assisting with manual handling tasks, loading/unloading, and other site duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience in a recycling or waste management environment (preferred but not essential).
  • A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves standing for long periods and manual handling.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Good attention to detail and a safety-first attitude.
