Taskmaster Resources LTD (South Yorkshire Driving) are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver to support our client within the automotive parts distribution. This is a night trunking role moving car parts between depots/RDCs across the UK. Runs are planned and organised, with ongoing work available Monday to Friday and some weekend days.
Key responsibilities:- Night trunking of automotive parts to RDCs/depots across the UK
- Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle (double-deck work may be required depending on route)
- Ensuring loads are safe and secure at all times
- Completing vehicle checks, PODs and relevant paperwork
- Working to tachograph rules and transport legislation
- Maintaining good communication with the transport team
- Hold a valid Class 1 Licence
- Minimum of 6 months experience
- Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card)
