Taskmaster Resources LTD are currently recruiting for a Trainee Furnace Operator to join a busy and growing team in LS10.
Pay Rate: Starting rate of £14.20 per hour
Working Hours: Able to work days, weekends and nights when required
Key Duties:
- To support the Furnace Supervisor in the running and checking of the furnaces
- Start up and shut down furnace
- Monitor and adjust furnace control panel as and when required
- Deal with any production faults
- Change miller screens, clean out vacuums and filters
- Monitor readings running levels for the type of glass flake required
- Communicate & liaise with R & D engineers & manager
- Ensure production targets are reached & record average stats and totals produced
- General fault finding and troubleshooting while furnace is running
