Taskmaster Resources Ltd is currently recruiting Drivers Mates for a busy delivery operation based in Morley, LS27. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity for reliable, physically fit candidates who are comfortable with heavy lifting and enjoy working in a customer-facing role. The role involves travelling across the country alongside a delivery driver to deliver household goods and white goods directly to customers. Key Responsibilities Assisting with the delivery of household goods and white goods nationwide.
Loading and unloading goods from the delivery vehicle.
Carrying heavy items and undertaking manual handling duties.
Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.
Working as part of a team to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently.
Following site procedures and health and safety requirements.
Working Hours Working 5 days out of 7, including weekends.
Start times from 6:30am onwards.
Shifts typically last between 8 and 12 hours, depending on the delivery schedule.
Candidates must be flexible regarding working days, start times and shift lengths. Training and Induction All successful candidates must complete a full on-site induction, lasting approximately 8 hours. The induction is fully paid. Candidates interested in longer-term opportunities will also be required to complete a basic DBS check. The Ideal Candidate Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
