Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4:00pm; Friday, 7:30am - 3:15pm

We are recruiting for a practical and reliable Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing and packing environment based in Huddersfield. This role will involve building large wooden pallets, timber cases and bespoke packaging used to protect heavy machinery and industrial equipment. The work is hands-on and would suit someone with experience in woodwork, joinery, timber manufacturing, pallet making, or a similar practical background.

The role will include:

  • Using hand tools and power tools to build large wooden pallets and timber packaging
  • Measuring, cutting, assembling and securing timber
  • Preparing packaging for large machinery and industrial items
  • Handling timber and materials safely within the warehouse
  • Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
  • Working as part of a team to meet packing deadlines
