We are currently recruiting a Hygiene Operator to join a well-established pallet manufacturing and repair company on a temp-to-perm basis.
The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the production and warehouse environment, ensuring all work areas remain clean, safe, and organised. This role requires someone who can work independently for the majority of the time, taking ownership of their duties and maintaining excellent standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining production, warehouse, and communal areas
- Removing waste materials and ensuring workspaces remain tidy and safe
- Carrying out general housekeeping duties across the site
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Completing cleaning records and documentation where required
- Working to cleaning schedules while managing your own workload
- Supporting the wider team in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous hygiene, industrial cleaning, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Comfortable working under their own supervision
- Reliable, conscientious, and detail-oriented
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual cleaning duties
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
Hours
Rotational Shift Pattern (Monday to Friday)
- Dayshift: 6:00am 2:00pm
- Backshift: 2:00pm 10:00pm
Candidates must be able to work both shifts on a rotational basis.
Pay Rate
- £13.00 per hour
