Contract: 12-month fixed term

TM Scotland is delighted to be partnering with a new client based in Moodiesburn, Glasgow. We are currently recruiting experienced Process Operators to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with strong potential for ongoing opportunities for successful candidates.

Our client is investing significantly in their site, workforce, and future growth. As part of this expansion, we are seeking high-quality Process Operators to work a continental shift pattern within a continuous production environment.

Shift Pattern:

  • Initial: 2 days (7:00am - 7:00pm), 2 nights (7:00pm - 7:00am), followed by 6 days off
  • From 18th June: 4 on / 4 off (2-day shifts, 2-night shifts)

Pay & Benefits:

  • During probation: £13.66 per hour + £4.08 shift allowance (Approx. £34,931 per annum)
  • After 12 weeks: £14.35 per hour + £4.30 shift allowance (Approx. £36,842 per annum)

Role Overview:

The Process Operator will report to the Process Leader, Team Leader, or Shift Manager. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient production of high-quality collagen casings and film, working as part of a continuous manufacturing process.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing or similar industrial environment is desirable.
  • Qualifications: Qualifications such as Standard Grades or a recognised apprenticeship are advantageous.
  • Skills: Good hand-eye coordination, willingness to learn and develop role-specific skills through training.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as continuous improvement and SPC, familiarity with scanning systems, barcoding, and basic computer use.
