Job Description
Taskmaster Resources LTD are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join a busy fashion warehouse based in Batley, WF17.
This is a unique Team Leader opportunity within a fashion and online retail operation and would suit someone with a strong interest and knowledge of fashion, clothing brands and current trends.
What does the role involve?
You will lead a team responsible for sorting and assessing incoming clothing, identifying the best-quality and most desirable items to be sold online.
You do not need to have worked in an e Commerce warehouse previously, but you should have a good understanding of fashion and what makes a product appealing to customers.
The successful candidate will use their knowledge of fashion brands, styles, trends and customer demand to help identify which products should be selected for online sale.
Once selected, products are prepared for online retail by being photographed, described and listed for customers to purchase.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and support a team of employees, agency workers, volunteers and placement groups.
- Monitor team performance and KPIs, taking action where required.
- Support the training and development of team members.
- Lead the sorting team and ensure products are assessed correctly.
- Identify high-quality and commercially valuable clothing suitable for online sales.
- Use knowledge of fashion brands, styles and current trends when assessing products.
- Keep up to date with fashion and online retail trends.
- Plan and manage the daily workflow across sorting, photography, online listings, dispatch, stock and inventory.
- Ensure the team works efficiently and meets required targets and standards.
