We are currently seeking an experienced Tube Laser Operator / Setter to join a busy and fast-paced fabrication environment operating BLM Adige CNC tube laser cutting machines. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring high-precision laser cutting equipment to manufacture steel and aluminium tube components to engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate BLM Adige tube laser cutting machines
- Load and unload tubular steel and profile sections safely
- Interpret engineering drawings and CAD-based production data
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Carry out quality checks using micrometres, verniers, and gauges
- Monitor production output and report machine faults
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations
