Hygiene operative £12.71 per hour + Overtime
Hours of work are 6am – 2pm Monday to Friday – NO WEEKENDS!
Responsibilities- Carry out scheduled daily cleaning tasks.
- General cleaning of production areas: sweeping, mopping, washing racks and trays, handling waste, yard and external groundwork (litter picking, etc).
- Deep cleaning of machinery and equipment, strip down and re‑assembly.
- Use hygiene equipment required to carry out job role (hot hose, floor scrubber, pressure washer, vacuum cleaners, etc).
- Be able to follow instruction.
- Ensure all areas detailed by cleaning schedules are completed correctly, on time and to company standards.
- Awareness of Health & Safety, COSHH regulations and the safe use of chemicals. (Preferred, but not essential, as training will be provided)
- Team player.
- Assist colleagues and other departments cross‑functionally.
- Ability to work under pressure and be able to use own initiative.
- Can‑do attitude.
