Taskmaster Resources ltd is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Grinder to join our manufacturing team in Sheffield. In this vital role, you will be responsible for precision grinding and finishing of metal components to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate grinding machines and hand tools to shape, smooth, and finish metal parts according to specifications.
  • Handle materials safely within the warehouse, including moving raw materials and finished products using proper materials handling techniques.
  • Follow safety protocols during all fabrication, welding, and assembly tasks to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in production, manufacturing or similar mechanical work.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools and power tools for grinding and finishing tasks.
  • Experience with materials handling within a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with tooling maintenance and setup procedures.
  • Prior experience in assembly or working with materials in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Working hours: Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 15:45 and Friday: 07:00 - 12:00

Payrate: £13.20 p/h
