Taskmaster Resources LTD are looking for HGV Class 1 drivers to work for our clients based near Rotherham S66.
Working as a team of 2, you will be responsible for delivering parts to RDC's overnight for delivery the following day. Typically working with another driver or driver's mate depending on location, you will be making deliveries using the tail lift and loading the RDC/branch. All the trailers are double deckers, so use of them would be advantageous.
Applicants must have the following:
- Hold a valid Category C+E (Class 1) HGV/LGV entitlement.
- Minimum of 1 year Class 1 experience - with 6 months of on the road experience.
- Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card).
- Have no more than 6 points on your license; DR DD IN endorsements are not accepted.
- Hold a full CPC.
Responsibilities:
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Deliver goods to designated locations, maintaining accurate delivery records.
