Taskmaster Resources are recruiting on behalf of our client in Bellshill for a Class 2 Shunter / Warehouse Operative. This is a varied role, combining transport duties with warehouse support, ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on environment and being part of a busy operation.

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday
  • 2:00pm – 10:30pm

The Role

  • Approximately:
    • 15% Class 2 shunting duties
    • 85% warehouse support

Responsibilities include:

  • Vehicle movements within the yard
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Assisting with warehouse operations
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Supporting the wider team to ensure customer requirements are met

Pay Rates

  • Standard Rate – £15.04 per hour
  • Unsocial Hours – £18.22 per hour
  • Enhanced overtime and Bank Holiday rates available

About You

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Previous shunting experience desirable
  • Flexible and reliable attitude
  • Comfortable with physical work and manual handling
  • Team player with good communication skills
