Taskmaster Resources are recruiting on behalf of our client in Bellshill for a Class 2 Shunter / Warehouse Operative. This is a varied role, combining transport duties with warehouse support, ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on environment and being part of a busy operation.
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday
- 2:00pm – 10:30pm
The Role
- Approximately:
- 15% Class 2 shunting duties
- 85% warehouse support
Responsibilities include:
- Vehicle movements within the yard
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Assisting with warehouse operations
- Manual handling and heavy lifting
- General housekeeping duties
- Supporting the wider team to ensure customer requirements are met
Pay Rates
- Standard Rate – £15.04 per hour
- Unsocial Hours – £18.22 per hour
- Enhanced overtime and Bank Holiday rates available
About You
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous shunting experience desirable
- Flexible and reliable attitude
- Comfortable with physical work and manual handling
- Team player with good communication skills
