Taskmaster Resources Ltd are currently recruiting a Workshop Operative based in South Kirkby (WF9) for a successful fabrication business.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm, 40 hours paid per week
Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour
Requirements:
- A valid UK Driving License (essential)
- FLT Counterbalance License (preferred), refreshed within the last 3 years
- Previous experience in a workshop or similar hands-on environment
- Confidence using various tools and working around machinery
- Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with general workshop tasks such as drilling and operating a press brake
- Loading and unloading deliveries and offloading wagons
- Handling delivery paperwork and liaising with drivers
- Driving the company van to collect and deliver customer orders
- Collecting supplies for site using the company van
- Assisting welders and fabricators with daily workloads
This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, practical, and comfortable working in a busy workshop environment.
