We are currently recruiting for an experienced Line Coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced processing operation on a permanent day shift basis based in Wetherby LS22. Due to site location, you must live local to site or have access to your own transport.
Salary: £34,785.22 per annum
Shift Pattern: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts
The Role: As a Processing Line Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring production lines operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will support the wider production team by coordinating daily line activities, maintaining GMP standards, and ensuring operational targets are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work safely at all times and promote a positive health & safety culture
- Maintain your work area to the required GMP standards
- Ensure production targets are achieved, including output, changeovers, hygiene, and giveaway targets
- Carry out specific trained tasks including changeovers and allergen cleans across multiple areas
- Work closely with the Shift Manager / Supervisor to ensure your team are trained and capable
- Complete effective handovers with the oncoming Coordinator and ensure the line is left to the required standard
- Understand production plans and take proactive steps to ensure successful completion
- Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency across the department
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to support the development of SOPs and train team members effectively
- Strong understanding of line targets and how to operate efficiently to achieve them
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment
Essential Qualifications & Knowledge:
- CCP Trained
- Food Safety Level 2
- HACCP Level 2
- Allergen Awareness
