We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator / Account Coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced operation during a seasonal peak period. This role combines warehouse administration duties with customer service and account coordination responsibilities. The successful candidate will support the smooth running of warehouse operations while delivering excellent service to customers and internal departments.
Please note: Due to business requirements, no annual leave can be taken during the period of engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and process daily order documentation for picking, dispatch, and delivery
- Manage incoming emails and communications efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Communicate order updates and changes to warehouse and logistics teams
- Support daily warehouse administration and reporting tasks
- Input and maintain accurate data across internal systems and spreadsheets
- Assist with stock movement reporting and operational paperwork
- Provide additional administrative support during busy periods
- Support customer accounts and respond to enquiries professionally
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle incoming calls regarding orders, deliveries, returns, and general queries
- Liaise with warehouse, transport, and internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Keep customers updated on deliveries, shortages, and order changes
- Resolve customer issues through proactive communication and follow-up
- Build strong working relationships with regular customers
- Support shared inbox management and customer administration tasks
- Previous experience in administration, warehouse support, logistics, customer service, or account coordination
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication and professional telephone manner
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload effectively
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work well within a team
- Experience using internal systems or warehouse software is advantageous but not essential
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Job Type: Temporary (June - September 2026)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (40 hours per week)
This is a temporary assignment with an opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
