We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Drivers Mate to join our team based in Wetherby (LS23). This is a physically demanding role supporting delivery drivers with the safe and efficient transportation of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the driver with deliveries and collections
- Loading and unloading goods, including heavy lifting
- Ensuring items are handled safely and securely
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
- Supporting the driver with route navigation if required
Working Hours:
Day shifts, start times as early as 4:00 AM, 10-12 hour shifts
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early starts
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
Pay & Benefits:
£13.48 per hour, ongoing work available for the right candidates.
