Taskmaster Resources LTD are currently looking for a Trainee Furnace Operator based in LS10, Hunslet for a busy manufacturer. Temporary ongoing position. Basic shifts - MON - THURS 8am - 5pm and FRI 8am - 4pm however the right candidate must be flexible to work extra hours ( weekends and nights ) if required. Starting rate of £14.20 per hour Key Duties : - To support the Furnace Supervisor in the running and checking of the furnaces - Start up and shut down furnace - Monitor and adjust furnace control panel as and when required - Deal with any production faults - Change miller screens, clean out vacuums and filters - Monitor readings running levels for the type of glass flake required - Communicate & liaise with R & D engineers & manager - Ensure production targets are reached & record average stats and totals produced - General fault finding and troubleshooting while furnace is running Relevant experience must be shown on your UP TO DATE CV.
