Quality Supervisor in Sheffield

Taskmaster is recruiting for a
Quality Supervisor
on behalf of our client based in
Thorne, Doncaster . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with quality control experience and strong leadership skills to oversee quality standards, support a team of QC inspectors and drive continuous improvement. Salary:
Approximately £33,000 per year, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am4pm, 40 hours per week Key responsibilities: Supervise and support a team of shift QC inspectors. Develop, maintain and review quality standards, procedures and documentation. Carry out internal and supplier audits. Investigate non-conformances and work with other departments to resolve quality issues. Maintain customer and supplier 8D reports and support corrective actions. Monitor quality performance, update KPIs and produce statistical reports. Manage approved reference samples and ensure products meet agreed standards. Champion continuous improvement and 5S, identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Support compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures. About you: Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance, ideally within manufacturing. Experience supervising a team or supporting colleagues in a quality environment. Familiarity with audits, non conformance reporting and problem solving techniques. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. A practical approach to resolving issues. Confident communication skills and the ability to work closely with different departments. A current
NEBOSH certificate is preferred but not essential . Relevant experience and other qualifications will also be considered.
