Taskmaster are currently looking for HGV Class 2 day drivers to work at our client's based in Barnsley, delivering kitchens and associated items around the country. A typical shift will start at around 05:00 am with an approximate shift length of 8-12 hours, delivering items to building sites and commercial premises. You will be involved in unloading the vehicle, typically to the back door, and be assisted when delivering onsite. You will receive training in manual handling and the use of the PDA scanner, which you will need to use to scan items off the vehicle.
Due to insurance purposes, we require you to have held your license for a minimum of 12 months and have been driving within that time, and be able to prove this to the client. Get in touch now for immediate starts.
Applicants must have the following:
- Hold a valid Category C (Class 2) HGV/LGV entitlement
- Minimum of 1 year Class 2 experience
- Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card)
- No more than 3 points for insurance purposes
- No DD, IN, DR or TT endorsements will be accepted for insurance purposes
- Hold a full DQC
