Taskmaster Resources currently have an excellent opportunity for experienced Mechanical Assembly Operatives to join our client in Ecclesfield, S35 area. Job duties will include working on a production line completing general assembly of products ready for welding; experience working in a similar environment would be beneficial.
Our client is offering excellent stability of hours working from Monday to Thursday 06:00am - 15:30pm.
Payrate: £12.71 rising after the training to £13.60 per hour.
Mechanical Assembly Operative - Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble components and parts according to technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct visual inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Identify and report any defects or quality issues to the supervisor or quality team.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with health and safety regulations.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules to meet daily targets.
- Support team members and work collaboratively to achieve production goals.
- Perform basic maintenance or setup of tools and equipment as required.
- Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
