TM Onsite, part of the Taskmaster Resourcing, is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client ID Logistics. Warehouse Team Leader
Shift
Pattern: 6:00am2:00pm OR 2:00pm10:00pm Working 5 days out of 6 per week.
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining health and safety standards, and achieving productivity targets across both early and late shifts.
Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse teams during assigned shifts.
Ensure all inbound, outbound, and stock control activities are completed accurately and on time.
Monitor warehouse performance against KPIs, including productivity, accuracy, and service levels.
Conduct shift handovers and communicate operational updates effectively.
Manage staffing levels, allocate resources, and coordinate workloads to meet business demands.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and warehouse procedures.
Investigate and resolve operational issues, stock discrepancies, and customer service concerns.
Deliver training, coaching, and performance management for warehouse employees.
Maintain accurate records and reports relating to warehouse activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Competent in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
