Taskmaster Resources Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Electrical fault finding on production machinery and control systems
  • Maintenance and repair of PLC-controlled equipment (diagnostics and basic modifications)
  • Working with control panels, wiring, sensors, relays, inverters, and motors
  • Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) with a strong electrical focus
  • Supporting installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and machinery
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Ensuring all work complies with electrical safety standards and site procedures
  • Exposure to noise, dust, and industrial conditions
  • Strong electrical background within manufacturing or industrial maintenance
  • Proven experience with PLC fault finding
  • Relevant electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Good level of English (spoken and written)
  • Flexible and reliable approach
  • Basic mechanical knowledge

£22.00 per hour

  • Temporary to permanent opportunity
  • Structured shift progression
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
  • After probation: Rotating shifts (06:00 - 15:00 / 08:00 - 17:00 / 13:00 - 22:00)

This is a temporary assignment with an opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
