TM Scotland Fife & the Lothians are very excited to be recruiting on behalf of one of our clients based in Musselburgh, who is one of the largest and most modern seafood processing plants in Scotland. We are on a mission to work closely with our client to secure new members to add to the team on temporary-to-permanent contracts of employment.

Operating Hours: Monday to Friday - midnight-9am

What does the Food Production Operative role involve?

  • Retrieving orders from the answer machine
  • Add orders to the database
  • Working as a team to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy making up customer orders
  • Scanning orders out to the customer

Requirements:

  • Excellent work ethic, with a can-do attitude
  • Previous experience within a similar role is ideal; however, this is not essential as our client will offer full training to those who show a keen interest to learn
  • A reference from a previous employer within the last 3 years - this is in line with our ISO accreditation, and as part of our onboarding for our client
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 20kg due to the manual nature of the role
  • The ability to work on a fast-paced production line
  • Reliable transport to arrive for early morning start times (5:30am or 6am)
