Taskmaster is excited to be working in partnership for a new client which is looking for experienced Assembly and Machine Operators to join our local client here in East Kilbride. As they continue to grow, they can offer exceptional training and temp to perm opportunities for successful candidates.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 06:30 Start. It is essential that candidates live locally or have their own transport due to location and lack of public transport for 06:30 starts.
Job Description: Reporting to the production supervisor, you will assist in the production and assembly of aluminium products, ensuring quality standards and production deadlines are met.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Setting Machines in a busy production facility
- Working with various departments to ensure smooth process from production to despatch
- Assembling aluminium parts with quality in mind
- Ensuring client specifications are recorded and traceable
Previous Experience:
- Working to client specifications and order deadlines
- Confident in reading spec drawings and machine set up and change overs
- Experience in fast-paced heavy production / manufacturing facilities
- Ability to demonstrate the use of manual and power equipment
Essential Skills:
- Strong in quality control, attention to detail
- Exceptional organisational skills to ensure orders are processed correctly and on time
- Level-headed and able to work under pressure when required
- Team player who enjoys a manufacturing environment and seeing products through to completion
- Takes pride in their work
