Taskmaster are currently recruiting for a Driver Coordinator who preferably has had experience working within the transport industry for our client based in Milton Keynes.
Duties:
- To support the Transport Manager in the efficient, effective, and profitable running of the Depot in a fully legal compliant manner.
- De-briefing of drivers about KPIs, issues with journeys and errors occurred during deliveries.
- Process and manage customer service request logs.
- Investigate service failures and action.
- Update and upload photos taken by drivers on the system.
- Liaise with Workshop, driver, and Operations regarding all defects.
- Process and manage reports (will be fully trained on this).
- Manage Hazard & Near miss reports to successful resolution.
- Action query requests.
- Tachograph download from vehicle(s) (will be trained).
- Check drivers documentation.
- Collate documentation for audit.
- Vehicle defect reporting.
- Workshop meeting.
- PPE management.
- Investigate and reduce vehicle misuse.
- Contribute to improving Operational budget costs.
- Deputise for Senior Traffic Dispatcher when required.
ADHOC Responsibilities:
- The resolving of PCNs and insurance matters if/when received.
- Stationery and provisions ordering.
- Return to Work interviews.
- Contribute to Safety at site and (Monthly) Meetings.
Pay Rate: £30,000 PA
Hours: 08.30 - 17.30 Monday to Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch)
