Taskmaster Resources LTD are currently looking to recruit for a Despatch Team Leader with Counterbalance for our well established client within Lincoln.
Duties of the Despatch Team Leader with Counterbalance include:
- Managing a team of operatives, ensuring depot orders are fulfilled in full and on time each day.
- Ensure that full compliance and health and safety standards are adhered to and met.
- Be a proactive member of the team, ensuring clear communication of what is needed and required for a successful despatch department.
- Ensure the despatch team are following all processes and procedures whilst proactively problem solving and improving department efficiencies.
Skills & Experience
- Good level of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Previous IT skills.
- Experience with FMGC (Desirable but not essential).
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Previous Stock control experience.
- Good time keeping skills.
- Counterbalance FLT Licence (ESSENTIAL).
- Ability to analyse data and problem solve, independently and as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure all customer loads leave full and on time.
- Full rotation of stock during each picking session.
- Ensure all safety checks are carried out on trailers and MHE. All defects to be reported immediately to technical, transport and/or MHE owners where applicable.
- Escalate all issues to management in a timely manner.
- Day to Day management of dispatch team members' performance against KPIs.
- Complete handovers to the next shift.
- Hands on when required and be a team player.
Shift: Thursday to Saturday (alternative Wednesday) 6am to 6pm
Pay: £ per annum
