We are recruiting Van Drivers for our client who is launching new operations in Lockerbie. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team from the very start on an ongoing role to around October.
Working Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- Some weekend work may be required during peak periods
- Average shift length: 8-12 hours per day
- Guaranteed 39 hours per week
- Ongoing contract until around October
Pay & Benefits:
- £12.21 per hour
- £1.02 per hour performance bonus for excellent attendance and incident-free work
- Holiday pay on top of hourly rate
- Company pension
- On-site parking
The Role:
You will be delivering high-end gardening products to private residential addresses using a flatbed van. This is a physical, hands-on role and will involve manual handling and heavy lifting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' driving experience
- Previous van driving experience preferred
- Ability to carry out heavy lifting and manual handling
- Knowledge of safe loading and securing of goods
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Good communication skills
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
