Taskmaster Resources Ltd are currently seeking to recruit an on-site Building Engineer at HM Prison Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
Duties:
- Ensuring availability of critical parts for statutory tasks and managing remedial tasks in the CAFM system.
- Performing general and semi-skilled maintenance activities, including security systems like CCTV and alarms.
- Conducting monthly checks and tests of fire extinguisher equipment, fire hydrants, and hoses.
- Completing quarterly RCD testing and inspecting Misting Units.
- Maintaining fire doors and performing flushing and tap temperature tests as per water risk assessments.
- Undertaking monthly and annual emergency lighting checks.
- Checking and testing smoke vents as required.
- Carrying out any other duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Experienced in multiple areas of maintenance such as: Fire; Door Maintenance, Extinguisher Maintenance and Alarm Core Points.
- Emergency Lighting.
- RCD.
- Water Temperature Testing.
- IT skills.
- Prison Security Clearance will be required.
Pay rate: £20.00 to £25.00 per hour
Working hours: 39 hours per week (across 7 days where a weekend shift pattern is in place), between 08:00 - 17:00. There is a need to work 1 in 3 weekends, but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).
