Taskmaster Resources Ltd in Huddersfield have been working with the University of Huddersfield since August 2014 and are currently recruiting a competent and experienced administrator/telesales person for a 5-6 week contract for 37 hrs per week.
Temporary Placement Support
To assist in securing placement opportunities for university trainee teachers. This role involves contacting schools and colleges by phone and email, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a professional and supportive experience for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact schools, colleges, and other placement settings to help secure placement opportunities for trainee teachers.
- Send email communications to placement providers, including placement requests, follow-ups, and clarification queries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications, responses, and contact details.
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused service when engaging with placement providers, colleagues, and students.
- Monitor responses and feedback from placement settings and ensure information is clearly recorded and shared.
- Escalate any issues raised to the appropriate team member to support timely and positive resolutions.
Key Skills and Experience Required
Essential:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (particularly telephone and email communication).
- Proven ability to interpret customer engagement briefs quickly, accurately and act on them.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and update records accurately.
- Professional and confident approach when engaging with external organisations.
- Customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience working in an administrative or customer service role.
- Experience using databases especially Excel.
