Join a market-leading confectionery manufacturer with 18 years of proven success in creating premium sweet treats in a dynamic production environment. Due to increased operational demand, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer on a temporary basis to support their production and maintenance teams. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical engineering experience who is comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding on production machinery.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including sensors, wiring, control panels, and automation components.
  • Support planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Work closely with mechanical engineers and production teams to maintain efficiency.
  • Ensure all work complies with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Electrical Engineer (HNC/HND or equivalent).
  • Proven hands-on electrical engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in food, FMCG, or confectionery manufacturing is desirable.
  • Strong fault-finding ability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Able to commit to a temporary assignment.
