Handyperson / Maintenance Operative
Location: Leeds, LS10
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week
Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm
Duration: Temporary, approximately 2 months
Start Date: ASAP
Taskmaster Resources Ltd are currently recruiting for a reliable and practical Handyman / Maintenance Operative to work on a temporary assignment for a busy site based in Leeds, LS10.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous handyman, maintenance, facilities, painting or general repair experience who is available for an immediate start.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of general maintenance, repair and painting duties around the site.
Duties are likely to include:
- General handyman and maintenance tasks
- Painting and decorating
- Touching up walls, doors and other areas
- Carrying out basic repairs around the site
- Using basic hand tools and equipment
- Helping to maintain the site to a clean, safe and presentable standard
- Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues
- Assisting with general upkeep of the building and surrounding areas
- Carrying out additional reasonable duties as required by the site team
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a handyman, maintenance, facilities, property maintenance or similar role.
You should be:
- Practical and hands-on
- Confident carrying out general repairs and painting
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Reliable and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Health and safety conscious
- Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks
- Available to start ASAP
Working Hours
Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm
39 hours per week.
The assignment is expected to last approximately two months, although this may be subject to change depending on the client's requirements.
Pay
£12.71 per hour.
