7.5T Day Drivers

Pay: £14.49ph

Monday to Saturday (working on a 3 week rota). The rota could look like this depending on volumes increasing and decreasing, so some flexibility is required to potentially pick up extra shifts:

  • Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat
  • Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri
  • Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat (then 5 days off)

Taskmaster are currently looking for multiple 7.5t day drivers to work for our client based in Doncaster (DN4) delivering furniture to people's homes. After a company induction and assessment with the client, you will be shown the correct way to unload the vehicle. There will be handball involved; however, working as a team of 2 this will be easily achieved, and in some cases, you will be required to build the item of furniture for the customer.

Applicants must have the following:

  • Hold a valid 7.5t Licence
  • New pass class 2 drivers welcomed!
  • Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card)
  • NO MORE THAN 6 points for insurance purposes
  • NO DD, IN, DR or TT endorsements will be accepted for insurance purposes
  • Hold a full CPC
  • Be Polite and Pleasant

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a 7.5t vehicle to deliver goods to customers' homes
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery while adhering to traffic regulations
  • Load and unload items, utilising flatbed techniques when necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks to ensure operational safety
  • Document delivery details and report any issues to management promptly
