We are currently recruiting professional and reliable Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing general haulage and container work based in Doncaster DN1. This role offers consistent shifts, competitive pay, and the chance to work with a well-established logistics operation.

Duties

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Transport goods safely via trunking, general haulage, or container work.
  • Ensure all loads are secured correctly (curtain siders, straps, container twist locks).
  • Plan routes efficiently while complying with road regulations and port procedures when required.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including mileage, fuel usage, and incident reports.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or issues.
  • Deliver excellent customer service during client interactions.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 1 Year Class 1 experience (verifiable via tacho records).
  • Experience with curtain siders, strapping, containers, or general haulage.
  • Strong understanding of road transport legislation and working time rules.
  • Good time-management and organisational skills.
  • Confident communication with dispatch, planners, and customers.

Requirements

  • Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Valid Driver CPC.
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, IN endorsements).
  • Professional, polite, and reliable at all times.
