Class 1 Driver Temp to Perm
£16.50 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay

Taskmaster Resources are currently recruiting for aClass 1 Driveron behalf of our client. This is atemp to perm opportunityfor the right candidate, with the first 12 weeks being paid at£16.50 per hour plus 12.07% holiday paywhile working through Taskmaster.
This role involves a mixture oftrunking, deliveries and nights out, working on a3-week rota pattern.

The role:
Week 1 2 nights out
Monday Start between 04:00 and 05:00, delivering to customers in the South West area including South Wales, Bristol and Swindon (TRAMPING THE NIGHT)
Tuesday Complete any remaining deliveries, return to yard, with possible stock run to Rotherham depot
Wednesday Local deliveries, start between 05:30 and 06:00
Thursday / Friday Same pattern as Monday / Tuesday
Week 2 2 nights out
Monday Start at 05:00, delivery to Scotland outbase (TRAMPING THE NIGHT)
Tuesday Return to yard, stock run to Rotherham depot
Wednesday Local deliveries, start between 05:30 and 06:00
Thursday / Friday Same pattern as Monday / Tuesday
Week 3
Monday to Friday (NO TRAMPING) Start times between 05:15 and 06:00, delivering to areas including North East, North West, West Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, East and West Yorkshire, Manchester, Wirral and Leicestershire
Pay and benefits:
- £16.50 per hour
- 12.07% holiday pay
- Temp to perm opportunity
- Overnight parking paid via SNAP account or reimbursed if paid by the driver
- Evening meal on day 1 and breakfast on day 2 paid for on nights out
- Night out allowance £25.90
- Permanent salary after successful temp to perm period:£33,269 per annum
- Weekly pay while with agency
- Monthly pay once taken permanent
- Contracted to 45 hours per week
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 licence
- 1 year of experience driving Class 1
- Valid CPC and Digi card
- Comfortable with nights out and early starts
- Good geographical knowledge and a professional attitude
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
