We are seeking a skilled Site Mechanical / Electrical Engineer to lead our Engineering team and ensure all production equipment and site infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards. This role is hands-on, requiring strong technical ability and excellent organizational skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Preventative Maintenance
  • Ensure all machines are safe and fit for purpose
  • Installation of new machines and equipment
  • Review and Advise on engineering requirements
  • Work with single phase / three phase electrical circuits
  • Work with and Coordinate Contractors
  • Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard
  • Fault Finding and testing of equipment
  • Determine the root cause of the fault and then undertake cost effective solution to remedy the defect.
  • You will be actively involved in continuous improvement projects
  • Effective Communication – keeping Management and relevant parties aware, seeking advice and assistance when required.
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
  • Ensure machinery is operating to OEE standards
  • Contribute to waste management
  • Proven experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Must be available for emergency call outs when full training provided after 2 weeks
  • Driving license essential
