Our client has been in business since 1976, when two farming families in Fife started growing vegetables in partnership. They grow approximately 2800 hectares of vegetables and salad crops across Scotland.
About the Role:
As a Food Processor, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the factory, preparing fresh produce from field to shelf.
No previous experience in food processing is requiredfull training will be provided.
This role is a mix of day shift and back shift, with every second weekend also forming part of the rota. There are NO part-time opportunities.
Key Responsibilities in Food Production
- Quality control of incoming fresh produce
- Grading and sizing produce
- Preparing produce by hand
- Working within the Core, Prep, and Ready to Eat production areas
- Weighing, labelling, and packing
- Stacking finished produce onto pallets
- Other responsibilities after training, such as using machinery and food-safe chemicals
- Staffing the production lines

- Good hand-eye coordination
- Quality-focused with attention to detail
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Reasonable physical capabilities are required due to the manual nature of the work
- Able to work in a cool environment
