Forklift Driver (Flexi / Bendi)

Full time 40 hours per week, shift patter 4 on 4 off. Hours 6.30am 6.45pm.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Stock Movement & Racking

  • Operate forklift trucks (Flexi Truck) to move pallets within high-bay racking systems
  • Put away inbound stock into designated bin locations, ensuring correct location accuracy
  • Replenish pick faces from bulk storage to support ongoing store order picking
  • Support efficient warehouse layout by ensuring fast-moving stock is accessible for picking

2. Store Replenishment Support

  • Move stock in line with replenishment cycles and picking priorities
  • Ensure stock is available in forward pick locations ahead of order generation and picking
  • Support consolidation of stock to align with final orders (as referenced in your replenishment process)
  • Work closely with picking teams to minimise delays or stock shortages

3. Goods In & Putaway

  • Unload supplier deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Check stock against delivery documentation and report discrepancies
  • Prioritise putaway to ensure availability for replenishment and picking cycles

4. Goods Out & Loading

  • Load outbound vehicles in line with store delivery schedules
  • Ensure pallets are staged correctly for dispatch based on route sequencing

5. Inventory Accuracy & Control

  • Maintain accurate stock locations at all times
  • Support cycle counts and full stock takes
  • Identify and escalate issues such as:
    • Misplaced stock
    • Damaged goods
    • Stock discrepancies
  • Ensure stock is positioned in the correct location hierarchy to support system accuracy

Skills & Experience Required

  • Valid forklift licence (Reach / Flexi Truck)
  • Experience working in a racked warehouse environment
  • Understanding of stock replenishment and picking processes
  • Experience supporting retail or multi-site replenishment operations (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
