Fit Out Operative
Taskmaster Resources are looking for an Fit Out Operative for our client based in Baston, near Peterborough.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assembling and fitting tank outlets and lids.
- Transport goods from the relevant bays to Fit-Out department to maintain a constant flow of products within the manufacturing.
- Following engineering drawings to fit tank components.
- Using hand tools such as drills, jigsaws, angle grinders, etc.
- Undertaking training to meet the needs of the business.
- Carry out basic quality and testing checks.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
- Work under the guidance of the Supervisor to perform and complete the assigned duties promptly.
Requirements
- A forklift licence.
- Be able to follow instructions and production schedules.
- Be responsible and able to work without constant supervision.
- Be a tidy worker.
- Pay attention to detail.
- Flexible and trustworthy
- Work quickly and steadily on repetitive tasks.
- Be physically fit.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Have some practical or mechanical knowledge.
Hours: Monday to Friday: 7am-4pm
Pay rate: £13.25ph
