Overhead Crane Operator Location: Dunfermline Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am

Pay: £17.00 per hour We are currently recruiting for an experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join an exciting new client expanding into the Dunfermline area.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a company that values safety, teamwork, and reliability.

Initially, this role will be full-time, working Monday to Friday while operations are established.

Once fully operational, the role will transition to 23 days per week for a minimum of three years.

Flexibility with working hours during the start-up phase is essential.

Key Responsibilities Safely operate overhead cranes to load and unload metal products.

Sling and move large steel plates and other heavy materials around the site.

Accurately identify and match product numbers, ensuring materials are moved to the correct locations.

Carry out pre-use equipment inspections and comply with all health and safety procedures.

Maintain a safe and tidy working environment while supporting the wider team.

What We're Looking For Previous experience as an Overhead Crane Operator/Slinger.

Proven experience operating overhead cranes within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Ability to accurately identify and match product numbers.

Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.

Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Flexible approach to working hours as the business grows.
