We are currently seeking an experienced Tube Laser Operator / Setter to join a busy and fast-paced fabrication environment operating BLM Adige CNC tube laser cutting machines.
You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring high-precision laser cutting equipment to manufacture steel and aluminium tube components to engineering specifications.
- Set up and operate BLM Adige tube laser cutting machines
- Load and unload tubular steel and profile sections safely
- Interpret engineering drawings and CAD-based production data
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Carry out quality checks using micrometres, verniers, and gauges
- Monitor production output and report machine faults
- Use overhead cranes / FLT where required for safe material handling
Previous experience operating CNC tube laser machines (BLM Adige or similar preferred).
Experience within steel fabrication or precision machining environments.
Ability to work to tight tolerances and production targets.
Good mechanical awareness and problem-solving skills.
FLT and/or overhead crane experience (advantageous but not essential).
Monday to Friday working hours.
Training and development opportunities.
The position begins as a temporary assignment, with the possibility of longer-term employment.
