FLT DRIVER > 4 ON 4 OFF > 12HR SHIFT > AVAIL ASAP Continental shifts 2day/2 nights 4days off: 6am - 6pm / 6pm -6am
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate counterbalance trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
- Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking shipments and inventory.
- Assist with equipment repair as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Perform heavy lifting and materials handling as required during loading and unloading processes.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely shipping and receiving of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including basic maths calculations for inventory tracking.
Requirements:
- Valid accredited counterbalance license.
- Experience in warehouse operations is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an advantage.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) and handle materials safely.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
The position begins as a temporary assignment, with the possibility of longer-term employment.
