Taskmaster Recruitment is currently recruiting for Waste Operatives to join a dedicated team working for our client based within Waterbeach. This role plays a vital part in maintaining clean, safe, and pleasant outdoor environments.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for collecting loose waste material across the site and ensuring it is disposed of correctly in order to maintain a tidy, safe, and pleasant environment.
Suitable candidates MUST:
- Have a high degree of physical mobility and activity.
- Have the ability to operate simple hand tools and equipment.
- Drive and operate site vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
- Present a professional image to our internal and external customers - Maintaining work clothes, tools, and vehicles in a clean and tidy condition.
- Complete allocated work within set time scales.
- Comply with all Health and Safety regulations at all times.
- Report all incidents, close calls, etc. to the line manager.
- Have experience of maintaining levels of service and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Report to the line manager and (if different) site supervisor any unsafe acts or unsafe situations seen on site.
- Perform other duties where required.
This is a hands-on, physical role that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
