Salary: £27,976 per annum + bonus

Location: Burnley

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm & Saturday 8:30-5pm on a rota basis with 1 day off in the week

Do you enjoy delivering excellent Customer Service and have experience within Sales? Are you looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced, supportive and progressive company? Taskmaster are proud to be recruiting for a leading online retail company based in Burnley, who are seeking a dynamic individual to work within their well-established Customer Support department.

You will act as the first point of contact for new and existing customers; answering incoming calls, emails, web chats and Direct messages.

Roles and responsibilities:
  • To deliver an exceptional customer experience, when handling customer queries (via telephone, email, Direct Messages and Live Chat)
  • Be proactive and seek out opportunities to enhance the customer experience, ensuring all information is accurately recorded in accordance with process and system requirements
  • Ensuring customer enquiries are effectively resolved
  • Provide accurate and helpful Pre-Sales product advice (up sells and cross sells) and basic technical troubleshooting
  • To accurately create new sales and after-sales orders, using the correct product codes and prices via one of several different sales ordering systems
  • To improve the customer experience by proactively anticipating and resolving issues which may include communication with 3rd party suppliers, couriers
  • Provide timely updates and resolutions to customers
  • Managing orders, awaiting stock and ensuring the customer is kept informed
  • To understand the customers' requirements to maximise sales opportunities
  • To effectively respond to and resolve customer queries specifically for Marketplace customers
  • To ensure compliance with all internal policies and processes
  • To take on any other tasks that may arise to support the wider team
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have experience working in a customer service or sales environment
  • Be able to work to targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Packages, including Word and Excel
  • Can recognise and develop cross selling opportunities
  • Be hardworking, dedicated and eager to succeed
