The position is based in the Sheffield area. We are looking for candidates who can produce a high quality of work with excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Operate spot welding equipment to join metal parts with accuracy and consistency.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment such as press brake machines and plasma cutters.
- Conduct routine inspections of welds for quality assurance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow schematics and mechanical drawings accurately to meet project specifications.
Skills:
- Proven experience in construction site environments or manufacturing facilities involving sheet metal fabrication.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment safely.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail and safety compliance.
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about precision welding within construction or manufacturing sectors.
Working hours: Days/Afters (Rotational) Days: Monday - Friday: 06.00 - 14.00 Afters: Monday - Thursday: 14.00 - 22.00 & Friday: 11.00 - 16.00
Payrate: £15.89 - £17.61 p/h
