We are looking for an experienced CNC Press Brake Technician to join a busy and well-established fabrication team in the Kirkby area. If you are confident working with Amada press brakes, can read engineering drawings with ease, and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality parts, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Programming, setting, and operating Amada press brake machines
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Programming bends and setting up tooling accurately
- Working with a variety of sheet metal materials
- Producing consistent, high-quality components
- Organising finished parts clearly for the next stage of fabrication
- Carrying out basic machine checks and routine maintenance
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
You’ll be trusted to manage your own workload and work independently without constant supervision.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years press brake experience
- Strong experience with Amada software/machines
- Confident reading technical drawings
- High attention to detail and bend accuracy
- Solid tooling setup knowledge
- Reliable and self-motivated attitude
Hours: Monday-Thursday: 06:00-15:00, Friday: 06:00-12:00 (Early Finish!)
Pay: £15 per hour
The position begins as a temporary assignment, with the possibility of longer-term employment.
