We're looking for a curious, detail-oriented person to join the Finance team at TASKING in Birkenhead. In this role, you'll work closely with our international Finance & Controlling team — supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ERP administration, and financial reporting. It's a great stepping stone if you want to build a solid foundation in finance with real exposure to global processes. You will be part of an international team of Finance enthusiasts located in UK, Germany, Slovenia and India.

What you'll be doing?

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks in line with commercial and tax regulations
  • Support preparation of internal reports and cost/performance evaluations
  • Help collect data for target/actual comparisons and basic controlling tasks
  • Maintain and update data in our ERP and CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Salesforce)
  • Provide administrative support to the global Finance & Controlling team

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Up to 2 years of relevant work experience or comparable internship(s)
  • Solid understanding of core accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS is a plus
  • Confident in Microsoft Excel; comfortable working across other Office 365 tools
  • Prior exposure to ERP systems is a plus; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is particularly welcome
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a structured international environment
